A domestic violence community support group will begin meeting on Tuesday, September 15th. This group will provide group members with a safe and confidential setting to share emotions and experiences related to situations of domestic violence and relationship violence. Participants will receive support from other group members and the professional counseling staff of DVS.

Group topics will include recognizing the signs of abuse, learning assertive communication, increasing self-esteem, developing healthy coping skills, and having healthy relationships, among others.

Group cost is $35 per session, with sliding fee scale available. If interested, or for more information, contact DVS counseling staff at 805-564-3300.
