40-Hour Domestic Violence Training

What

  • Earn the 40-Hour DV Training
    Certification required to provide
    direct service in a domestic violence agency.
  • Learn evidenced based strategies for counseling and client advocacy/case management practices that support recovery from domestic violence.
  • Increase your understanding of how domestic violence, mental health and substance abuse intersect, and the effective practices of trauma-sensitive and culturally competent service delivery.

  • Criminal and Civil Justice System / Family Law
  • Children and Domestic Violence
  • Youth and Dating Violence
  • Cultural Competency Part 1
  • Cultural Competency Part 2
  • Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Trauma - Trauma Sensitive Service Delivery

Cost

$150 is the fee for the entire 40-hour training, which includes the training manual.

Full and partial scholarships are available with a volunteer commitment.

Certificate of completion will be provided for those who finish the 40 hours;

A limited number of makeup training hours will be available in the coming year.
